My installation for the 2014 Don't Run was located in a bramble-filled vacant lot on Beacon Hill in Seattle. I used discarded construction materials that I pulled from a house on Capitol slated for demolition to make way for new condominiums. Materials included metal studs, part of an extension ladder, manila rope, pulleys, rebar, paracord, wood studs, landscape timbers, and galvanized steel wire.
